- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup yogurt (halal-certified)
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Make the Dough
In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
Add yogurt, warm water, and olive oil. Knead into a soft dough.
Cover and let it rest for 1-2 hours.
Prepare the Garlic Butter
Cook the Naan
Divide the dough into small balls and roll each into an oval shape.
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place the naan on the skillet and cook until bubbles form. Flip and cook the other side.
Brush the naan with garlic butter and sprinkle with cilantro.
