- 250g paneer, cubed
- 2 tablespoons butter or ghee
- 2 medium tomatoes, pureed
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons cashews, soaked and blended into a paste
- 1 cup heavy cream (halal-certified)
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon garam masala
- 1/2 tablespoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 tablespoon chili powder
- 1/2 tablespoon sugar
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Prepare the Curry Base
Melt the remaining butter in the pan. Sauté onions until translucent.
Add ginger-garlic paste and cook until fragrant.
Stir in tomato puree, cashew paste, turmeric, chili powder, and sugar. Cook until the oil separates.
Add Cream and Paneer
Mix in heavy cream and garam masala, simmering for 5 minutes.
Add fried paneer cubes, cooking until heated through.
