Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoon yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

Make the Dough

  • Mix yeast, sugar, and warm water. Let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  • Combine flour, salt, and olive oil in a bowl. Add the yeast mixture and knead into a soft dough.
  • Cover and let it rise for 1 hour.

Shape and Bake

  • Divide dough into balls and roll into 1/4-inch thick circles.
  • Bake at 475°F (245°C) on a hot baking stone or tray for 3-4 minutes until puffed.
